Relax in Beautiful Hill Country

Having 4 acres to roam and not having neighbors right on top of you is very nice. The property is clean and orderly. It is close enough to Austin to do things in the metro and far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

Summer Trip

Property is great, plenty of room for entertainment and outdoor activities, amenities in the home were dated and despite the ice maker not working, the hot water not working on the first day and the showers not draining properly, we still made the most of the trip. The locate property manager was quick to answer all the questions and make the corrections. For boat owners / renters, there is no docking facilities at this location and unfortunately due to the low water elevations, many of the boat ramps are closed, however the rental property is located to many great parks for which you will have access to, have a drive by to see which one is open prior to loading up the boat and family.

Always a nice stay

Great place, very peaceful and relaxing. Teresa is always a reliable and friendly owner. Have stayed here almost every year since 2011, never had a problem.

Living the Lake Life

Loved this house and property! Perfect size for 3 adults and two 18 year old boys plus our 90 lb Boxer. Close to everything we needed/wanted. Will definitely be back!!

4th of July Getaway!!

Perfect....again!

This was our second year in a row at Lodge Acres and it was just as enjoyable as the first. Everything was perfect from the cleanliness of the house to the condition of the property. We thoroughly enjoyed the long weekend and will begin to make plans for our 3rd year very soon. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation spot on 4 acres of pooch friendly property on the north shore of Lake Travis!

Comfortable and Relaxing

Our family enjoyed four relaxing days at Teresa's home. The house was as advertised. The property is graced with a large backyard that is great for pets and kids of all ages. We were pleased with access to the private marina within walking distance from the property. Our primary purpose was to enjoy long days boating on the lake and to relax in a comfortable home setting. We achieved both on this visit!

Great Home, Price and Couple to deal with

My wife, 2 1/2 year old and myself went to Austin (Lake Travis) area for some R&R. I just stumbled upon this property and went with my gut feeling. The owners had awaiting in the fridge a cake, bottle of wine and doggy treats for our dogs. The house was very clean and it was absolutely perfect. I DEFINITELY recommend.

Wonderful month long stay!

Our family had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake view property for an entire month! We were relocating to the Austin area & needed a long term place to stay...we could not have asked for a more relaxing place to be while going through the process of relocation. We have 2 very large dogs & a cat so we were so excited that Teresa allowed animals at her beautiful property! There was so much room for our dogs & our two young girls to get their energy out along with tons of trees to offer nice shade in the Summer. Thank you so much Teresa for your hospitality & helpfulness during our stay!

The Best

This lake house was the best getaway ever! The 4 acres gives you the feel of privacy, no one around but you!! The open space, the nature around, a mother & her fawn (Bambi) were running around, the view of the lake, the outdoor games, the Wine...EVERYTHING needed to relax from the outside world!!! I’m definitely going back & have told friends & family to check this wonderful home out!!! And Theresa is absolutely the best!!! Thanks for opening up your home!

FANTASTIC VACATION GETAWAY!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this home and its owner Teresa. She is friendly, responsive, and so thoughtful. Upon arrival we were greeted with a beautiful "welcome basket". The property is genuinely breathtaking, and immediately puts you into relaxation mode. The home itself is beautifully updated/maintained and very cozy, with more than enough space for 3 couples and pets. This is truly an amazing home for a romantic getaway or an extended family vacation. And a steal with all the extra amenities, location, and beauty provided by Lodge Acres. We will DEFINITELY be back!!!

Great Birthday weekend with family & friends

We rented this house to celebrate my son's 21st birthday. Everything was very nice. We really enjoyed our stay. The lake area/park is convenient. The house was well kept and very functional to our needs. The deck has a beautiful view. It is also very close to town for groceries, etc. The owners were so helpful with our many issues (we had a flat tire, jetski battery broke, etc etc) They made sure our needs were taken care of, you don't find that kind of hospitality anymore these days!! Thank you! We will be back next summer!!!

Relaxing New Year

We had three couples and two dogs for a two night stay including New Year's Eve and day. All of us, including the dogs, had a great time. The owner even provided some nice New Year's party favors, snacks and a bottle of wine. She was very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. We thought we would go out to see fireworks but once we were on the large property we didn't want to leave. The house and grounds were very clean, the wifi good, and the kitchen goods adequate. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back. Thanks Teresa!

Such a wonderful place to ring in the New Year!

Staying at Sleepy Hollow was a treat! The house and property were perfect and the humans and 2 dogs had a wonderful time during our 5 night stay! It was so nice to have a large fenced in space for the dogs to roam while we played badminton or sat on the porch and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The accommodations worked really well and the family area and kitchen were plenty spacious with lots of appliances and kitchen wares that made it very easy to make a 5-star dinner for New Year's Eve! We feel very lucky to have stumbled across this listing and have it on our short list of places to return to on our next visit to Texas! Thank you Teresa for being a gracious and generous hostess - we loved all the people and dog treats you left for us.

Beautiful Private Acreage by the Lake

Renting this property was a breeze. The walk to the lake was a tad much but still accessible. Listing is everything it says it is from the games to the grills which we used both of. Awesome place to stay. Some of the kitchen utensils could have been upgraded and more plentiful, (dull knives). And we were unable to complete the task of washing and drying the towels before checkout time as they would come out soaking wet from the washer. I would definitely rent the property again.
