"The biggest issue that I had was the information that I received about the bus was totally misleading . It says there is a bus down the street… it’s a 10-15 min walk. Oh and it only comes 2-3 times a day and forget about getting back there on the bus. So 1/2 of us came unprepared to rent a car. You must have a car unless you don’t plan on leaving. I can tell you a cab will come and pick you up, the one way trip to Santa Maria Novella is @ 70-80 euro per cab. We could fit 4-6 people and the fee...

"The Villa 's was exceptional. It had all of the charm one could hope for a 14th century estate with all of the modern conveniences of a/c, appliances and great showers. The views were magnificent and can't properly be captured by photo. The Villa was extremely clean and Catia the owner was a joy to communicate with. "The spaces are great for larger groups to have space away and privacy for breaks. The pool and outdoor dining area was amazing. As expected, water pressure in these older homes can be inconsistent, but was not a problem. The home is a bit away from major highways, so day trips were a little more local driving, but didn’t limit us. Host family is nearby for support, but non intrusive and very accommodating. We had a wonderful dinner prepared our final night and everything was very hospitable."

"We spent almost two weeks in Tuscany and rented three houses. Villa Andrei was a highlight - an beautiful and quiet location. You are on your own and can really enjoy your time under the Tuscan sun. The surrounding landscape and the view are wonderful. We had plenty of space in the house and especially on the terrace. "Our stay was amazing. The location was beautiful and easy for us to explore the surrounding area with ease. The house was beautiful, very clean and our host was most gracious. Upon arrival we had made a passing comment on how beautiful the patio terrace was and how a fire pit would be a nice touch so that we could enjoy it longer into the cool night. "Generally okay but a bit of a hotch potch of unmatched crockery and glasses. No shaker to make cocktails, airconditioning units not working, bulbs missing or not working and often no hot water. Lots of trip hazards. Housekeeper very pleasant but we were a bit disappointed."
