Although the place was converted from a prominent family home, the rooms needs some sprucing up. Not all rooms have accessible windows. The bathroom was a letdown, not enough ventilation; making it damp all the time. Location was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms come with acceptable breakfast.
I reserved a room with with double or a queen size bed. When i arrived there, they offered me a single bed with a public shower. I explained to them that i have never stayed in a room with public shower before. They offered to change my room but they said it would be additional p200 per night since i was with my wife. They said that room was booked by me and i should be the Only one to stay in the room. This was very disappointing ! I have Always booked a room and it has always been for 2 adults! Breakfast was included for this booking, but they said it would be additional p150 for my wife's breakfast per day in addition to the p200 they charged per night for her. Room was very smelly. There was strong odor of mildew. You could see the paint peeling off the walls from the moisture in the room. There were many signs of mold on the wood flooring... But, I had no choice but to endure all the disappointments since my booking was nonrefundable and it was too late for me to make another reservation.
Very good location. Good breakfast. The only downside is the cleanliness of the bathroom and the overall decor of the room and the noise outside the room especially in the morning. The hotel needs to focus a lot on the cleanliness of the room and bathroom.
Had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. Courteous and attentive staff. Great value for money, we stayed for 8 days here. Accessible to all transport, few minutes to downtown area. Free breakfast is a plus! Make sure to call the hotel though, I had a minor problem with the booking. Good thing I called before my trip. I will surely go back to this hotel when i'm in Bacolod.
the hotel's a really old house. the room smelled really old. the bed itchy. and there were crawlies

Lazy Hotel staff
I understand that this is a budget hotel however I didn't expect that their staff will act more like a guest, as one of their receptionist is really lazy (her shift is around 7am onwards) There are several time that we saw her lying down at the hotel sofa. And even though we're at the table she keeps on lying down. For me she is rude. When we checked in, she just throw our IDs though she said sorry after that We really wanted to stay long but it is really annoying to see how this receptionist do her job. The toilet bowl in the room that we stayed is also yellowish and the room itself smells smoke. I dont know if this is really normal with a budget hotel as I did not experience this with the others.
