"I felt I had been misled when we arrived at the hotel as the pictures on the listing show a well manicured hotel with a quality finish. The pictures were taken quite some time ago and the hotel is now in need of some love. The rooms are nice and they leave little animals made out of towels on your bed which is lovely, but the pool area and restaurant are a bit shabby and the buildings need a coat of paint. "No frills, pool is tiny, not actually a real pool, but decent. Rooms are fairly comfortable, food is very good at the restaurant. The Thai workers are helpful, the South African man who runs the place is not, he charged me 300 baht to drive me to the pier, travelling to Surat for a flight, then he did not show, a friend of his did, but he DID not give the new driver the 300 baht, so I paid twice! Not happy about that."

"Nice hotel, needs a bit of upkeep. Pool area was very nice and taken care of. Cottages had many small openings around the windows for mosquitos and critters to enter the room- recommend you take a roll of packing tape or similar to seal holes. Breakfast was adequate at best, we felt like eating out instead."

"Where to we start. Stay away at all cost. Upon arrival the one of the staff were picking her feet on the desk. We had the keys threw at us. To open the door on room there was a padlock on the outside this meant that you could not lock the whilst you are inside. On entering the room we were overpowered by the smell of urine and seemed to some rodent activity. The wardroab doors had been chewed and there were dropping in the bathroom and inside the wardrobe.
