Loved our stay, even with the cleaning issues it would not prevent a second chance to do better. Great location and close to lots of points of interest.
Very nice property close to the slopes. Parking with only one vehicle with a party of six is troublesome but we made it work. Overall a nice ski trip location.
The property was great. We enjoyed every second of our vacation. It wasn’t too far from shopping and was a great place to take a load off after a
Full day of activities.

Great Place to Stay
Unit was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. It isn't very large but we primarily used it as a place to sleep and shower, and spent the days and evenings getting the kids moved in and ready for school so it was perfect. The location on Sugar Mountain is perfect to access Sugar, Beech, and Grandfather Mountains plus Banner Elk. Highly recommend, will definitely stay here on future trips.
We wanted a quiet little place with a fireplace and this was perfect. My husband and I, our two teenagers and my mother in law had plenty of room in this little house. We loved the decor and the view was beautiful. We were there the last weekend of "leaf season" so the first day we could just see the beautiful leaf color by the end we could see Grandfather Mountain and everything else perfectly. It is a perfect little spot, out of the way but also only 3- 4 minutes to restaurants and the grocery store. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Briarcliff at Sugar Mountain
Loved our visit to Sugar Mountain. The house was perfectly sized for our stay. Beds were comfy and bathrooms were well stocked with toiletries needed for the entire stay. Only downfall was the broken coffee maker but we made due with the French press that we found in the kitchen. I had never used one before, but have discovered that coffee is better when pressed by hand. Was bummed to be without power for a whole day, but the whole mountain was without power due to a fallen meteor so you can't really control that. We made due with boardgames which was a nice change from tablets and streaming devices. The rental staff was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we notified them of.
Apartment was clean and well furnished. Great location in Nottinghill/Kensington area…I would 100% definitely stay there again. Only negative was Picking up the key to apartment from 3rd party convenience store was a bit of a hassle and could have been better communicated.

Two level mountain condo
I loved being able to spread out with my kids in different rooms. The place would comfortably sleep 6, but if its raining, there isn't a place for more than 3 to sit and eat together ( but plenty of seating on the balcony when weather is nice). The fridge was huge, and the kitchen had everything you could need. The living room furniture is wearing out, but my kids were very happy to connect their Nintendo Switch to the TV and play during the rain. Super close to gem mining and the Alpine Coaster. Very steep and winding road to get to home.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
Disliked: Communication
It was nice to be able to spread out with my kids. This place can comfortably sleep 6 in 3 different bedrooms, but the living room only has seating for 5 and the kitchen just has dinning space for 3 (unless the weather is nice, then there is loads of seating on the deck). The road there is steep and winding. It is close to gem mining, the alpine coaster and the open section of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We had a crew show up unannounced to measure something because the homeowner didn't tell them the unit was occupied... but we were also waiting for someone from Vasca because the roof leaked during the storm.

Condo 5 star cleaning 2 star
Condo couldn't be any more perfect. The owners have taken a lot of time and made every effort on the condo furnishings, decor with updated bathrooms and kitchen and nice wood floors.
The condo however was not cleaned properly upon our arrival. We were greeted with a slight odor, dirty face towels in the bathroom, two beds appeared to have been slept in or not been redone. Dirty pan in the oven, used soap and shampoos in the bathtub. A broken towel rack in the upstairs bathroom. No body soap, no dishsoap, no garbage bags, no
dish sponge or rag, no hand soap. I called upon arrival and then again the very next day and was assured that this would be addressed and that I would get a call. No one called or came by to provide the items mentioned during our visit. I personally cleaned and purchased what was necessary to make our stay comfortable.
And washed the towels before our families use.
Would definitely stay here again but would ensure the property manager follows through on inspecting to be sure the property is indeed rental ready prior to a guest arrival.
