We stayed at this lovely house for a ski weekend. The kitchen is well kitted with cooking appliances, pots, pans, utensils, etc. Bedrooms are large and comfortable. Two bathrooms with a great shower on the first floor. Comfortable loungy living room with chairs and couches. Everything was clean and in great shape and made for an easy entrance. Check in with the key pad couldn't have been easier. Management company is very responsive.

A charming home in a lovely location! This house offered everything I needed to be comfortable and enjoy the company of family nearby. Given the wintry weather and the height of the spacious living room ceiling, the common room required wearing an extra layer. But the bedroom and bathroom were very comfortable with the heat set at 68. I recommend this home to anyone who enjoys lakeside living any time of the year.

Cleaning good, kitchen and equipment good, area good, we feel like some areas inside of the house are missing pictures. but in general everything is good.We had a great weekend. We will definitely come back in another opportunity. Highly recommend.

The house is nice. It is a rural setting on a small lake. The dishwasher was broken, but that didn’t impact our stay. The rooms were clean and the four double beds were comfortable. The light switches are very confusing and random, but this was just a nuisance and not a problem. Overall we had a very nice stay and would consider returning again.

Great location, but not a rentable property. Don’t do what I did, read this and other reviews on this property before you rent.I reached the rental at 4pm on a Saturday, ready to start my vacation. Little did I know what was around the corner. I got to the U-shaped dirt driveway, both the ends with deep puddled water. That should have been the warning of what was ahead, seeing it had not rained for over a week in the area, so the puddle water was the first sign of an unkept property. Driveway lead to the stairs to the house, with the yard on the side, overgrown and full of weeds. As we got in the house and struggled with the light switches, I noticed there was security sensors on the doors that were broken and peeled and hanging. The house had great floors, but that was only what was great. The patio doors to the deck were shut with wedged wood planks as the door latches did not work. There were visible dirt and unclean spots. There is one bedroom and one bath on the main floor with only the functional shower. Master bedroom is in the basement, and drenched in musty basement smell. Your clothes and bags will be drenched in this smell within 2 days. The second bathroom is next to master bedroom in the basement, but it does not have a shower. Only a giant tub, NO SHOWER. The bed in basement is double /full not queen. The bed on main floor is also a double and so is the bed on second floor. There is a queen mattress thrown in the attic (3rd floor)

Charming Cabin with Ideal Location

I recently stayed at this charming cabin and had a wonderful experience. The property was exactly as described in the listing. The amenities were more than adequate, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal. While the cabin was a bit outdate that is what we were expecting and it didn't distract from our overall enjoyment. Plan on booing again in a few weeks for another great getaway.

Got there, 51 inside. Found that boiler switch was off. Turned on, reached 62/63. Range control top was disgusting. Had to clean before I could use it. Location was great. Still don’t understand why we couldn’t get in in the morning. I’m sure cleaning crew was there the day before. No one there night before

Needs Help

It needs a lot of TLC. Entry Doors open hard. Very Poor lighting . Kitchen cabinets very messy. a Smells down stairs . cobwebs everywhere .The first floor bed mattress needs to be replaced. Springs coming right through. The closets were cluttered with items not needed….and the lake was full of germs Glad our children wasn't with us. It would have been a unhappy week for them and us We should have been informed of this lake situation. In all fairness we should be reimbursed half of our money. When two of us arrived-they couldn't get in. they thought they had wrong code-so they waited for us an half hour. we couldn',t get in either. So after another half hour of trying-we made a call. Just not fair when u wait all year for a weeks vacation. This was the worst cottage and surrounds in ten years we have rented. the pics on the cumputer are made to make the cottage look so special. Let us know how your company feels about this review Also we had company and they said we should had been informed about the lake. It would be best if u didn't say to us u didn't know about the lake. Because we feel that 's your business and you need to be upfront and honest! We will expect a partial refund.

Overall, we enjoyed the stay. The place is a little rundown and dated. The fireplace was cool and worked very well. We enjoyed hanging out at the island and playing games. A few cobwebs here and there. But overall pretty clean.

Perfect location, poorly maintained

Run down outside and in. Dirty inside from poor cleaning and neglect. Cobwebs years in the making mixed with spider webs in windows. Couches had sand on them. Musty main bedroom had a dehumidifier but didn’t work.

Comfortable lakeside stay

The location is, as advertised, right on Locke Lake which is a quiet community. House was clean when we arrived. Fresh linens were also provided. Comfortable beds! The house has only one shower. Great stay!

Disappointed

When we arrived, the house hadn't been cleaned since the previous tenants left. Over the following days, we were disappointed to find no internet, a kitchen without glassware (plenty of mugs, though), running toilets, a goose-poop covered backyard strewn with sodden towels, torn and broken screen doors, broken chairs, broken light fixtures, and more. The Vacasa support phone line and text were slow and difficult to navigate. While the house cleaner and tech guy I eventually spoke with were both very nice, it couldn't make up for my embarrassment for bringing my mom to such a neglected space. The upsides: the lake is beautiful and the hanging fire place was fun to use.

Needs some updating, the screen doors were so old you could hardly open them. No glasses or even plastic glasses, coffee mugs only. Just not what I was expecting based on previous rentals. Call Vacasa the first day and someone was going to get back to me and never did. It was 90 degrees and there were no outside trash barrels. We had keep the trash in the house and it was no pleasant. Very disappointed that some of the issues were not addressed before VRBO puts the rental out there.

Bad service

When I go out there, the cleaning people were still there when I was supposed to check in at four and it was 515. The screen door to get in the front you couldn’t even open it. It wasn’t off the hook. It was broken and the bottom of it had a completely open screen so all the bugs could get in. I called the Vacasa number and spoke to somebody because it’s hot and there’s no air-conditioning. They said they would have somebody come and repair it or replace it and nobody came. I stayed there for five nights like that I will not be doing business again with them.
