"We stayed 2 nights here. Our first impression of the hotel was the beautiful lobby near the bayfront. Checkin took a long time as there was a long line so I do think they might need more staff in front. We were lucky to get a corner room on a high level so we had a room with vast, absolutely beautiful views looking out toward the water and across from Petco Park.
The bathroom was nice, lots of counter space, luxurious shower body wash, shampoo, and conditioner products from Crabtree and Evelyn. I used the coffee maker to make tea, wished there were a wider assortment of teabags. There was only 2 bags provided.
We used self-parking which was expensive, which would be our biggest complaint, but otherwise it was pretty easy to get in and out. The hotel gives you $15 worth of food and beverage credit each day to use in the hotel so we spent it at Starbucks that is on the promenade level of hotel. This hotel was my son's favorite out of the 3 that we stayed at that week. We will likely stay here again the next time we are in San Diego."
