"Amazing stay, great staff, definitely recommend using Valet as the parking structure is extremely narrow to get in and out from. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite with city view. It was very spacious, had great amenities, dishwasher, utensils, plates, paper towels, toaster, microwave. The double entry bathroom was a plus for us when our little one was sleeping. Definitely recommend, very clean, the staff were great. The bar and restaurant area was very comfortable, peaceful, and the food was great. Would 10/10 recommend. The area outside is also very safe with 24/7 valet service. The car was ready for pick up within 5-10 mins and Michael was a phenomenal valet driver! Took care of us the entire stay. Thank you Marriott San Diego!"

"I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was newly remodeled and very spacious for a queen room. The layout was a little awkward, and I did notice that the room was missing some wall art/decor, but overall it was clean, comfortable, and had a fresh, updated feel. The restroom was also really nice, especially the mirror! It had a great regular mirror and a 3x magnifying mirror, which was a huge plus for the girls getting ready. The staff was excellent! The young gentleman at the front desk was especially kind and welcoming, and the older gentleman was also very nice and helpful. Their customer service really made the stay even better. The location was another huge plus. Everything we needed was close by, which saved us a lot of gas and made getting around really convenient. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again!"

"The hotel is beautifully updated and designed. SMEG mini fridge is on trend, but it doesn’t allow any space to put personal drinks or leftovers in it. Rooms are small and having a luggage rack would be nice. We had one bedside table and by the looks of their photos, we were missing the other. It was annoying not having a place to put my phone or water. The air conditioner was loud at times. The rooftop has ample seating. We didn’t get a chance to enjoy watching the sunset and having a cocktail on the rooftop, but we could imagine how beautiful it would’ve been. There are two “vintage” elevators but one was out of service, which was annoying. The working one was quite small where you could barely fit 3 people with 2 luggage. You’d have to wait for it to come back if it was packed or if you missed the brief access moment. We were on the 4th floor and would take the stairs for most of our stay. Be careful around check out time as everyone is trying to access it; we waited 10min since we had our luggage. There’s no iron; just a steamer that was clogged and did not work. There is no access to an ice machine; you must ask staff to retrieve. We had a housekeeper cleaning the room on our floor and eventually next door and she kept letting the door slam as she was accessing her cart. She had a negative attitude. The heavy doors started slamming around 8am and continued for hours. Please have them use a door wedge. We didn’t dine at the bistro but they have great coffee."

"The area surrounding this hotel was amazing. Saturday farmers market was really nice and the amount of places for eating and shopping within walking distance was great!! The only thing I would warn other about is the parking garage is made for compact cars and the cost was a little much but they have cheaper parking across the street that was much easier for us with a larger vehicle. All in all we had a beautiful trip and the stay was fantastic!!!!"
