Ricardo the owner is pleasant and accommodating. I have made a mistake on my reservation for 3 guest instead of 1 guest. He gave our son a room free of charge. The guest house has a beautiful backyard, there is a avocado tree, tangerine tree and orange tree. He had 3 beautiful cats roaming around the backyard. The place decor is ornate and comfortable. If you're visiting Belem do stay with them.

The hotel is one of the most beautiful places that I ever stayed. Fantastic location, exceptional service throughout Immaculately clean in the middle of old town but still very quiet. I can't wait to return.

I loved this hotel so much! I did not want to leave. I actually felt very down the day we checked out. I have stayed in many 5 star hotels but never had such impeccable care. It was above and beyond. Every staff member was at our service. The view and location were amazing. It was a very quiet retreat to return to and within walking distance of everything. We stayed 9 nights in this extraordinary hotel in the heart of Lisbon. First, this 35 room hotel has been entirely restored to its original Art Deco form, including cork floors in the room, beautiful marquetry floors in the lobby, elegant furniture and art work in the lobby and bar. Also the sleek, elegant Art Deco door handles (that are beautiful but not so easily grasped). Wonderful place! The ming size bed was nice and to US standards. The location is great. And most importanly the staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating!

The property was clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was first class. Very polite and helpful with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Lisbon.

Accommodations were excellent---a must stay upon return. Staff patient, knowledgable, inviting, and caring (especially "Diego"). OUTSTANDING breakfast. GREAT location. Close to waterways for landmarks, walks, photos, restraunts. Indoor pool and steam room unique---great place to end your day.

This Hotel has some of the best service I have seen. The staff at the front desk and the restaurant go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

Our experience at this Vila was amazing from the moment we walked through the door. We were sat at the front desk and given orange juice while we waited to be checked in. The costumer service is amazing and everyone treated us like royalty. After checking in we were given a tour of the hotel which was beautiful and breathtaking (the photos online do not do this hotel justice). this hotel was perfect in every way , excellent location very clean and modern rooms in a 300 year old building . our room looked over a very busy street with a view of the famous arch . the street lined with restaurants was noisy with the window open but once closed we could not hear anything . very nice breakfast and the front desk people were very helpful and freindly . will stay here next visit

It was a fantastic hotel. The location can't be better and the hotel staffs were very helpful and polite. We could walk around the old Alfama area. We also got tips form the hotel reception. We had a early check out and the hotel staffs arranged breakfast box for us. Would certainly recommend this hotel for everyone.
