Top Belle Isle Hotel Reviews

The Siren Hotel, an Ash Hotel

8/10 Good

"The Siren Hotel has great aesthetics in the public spaces and is located centrally in Downtown Detroit, but I find its guest rooms lacking. The rooms are clean but not very well maintained (e.g. broken drapery and dripping faucet). Front desk staff was nice enough to switch me from a small noisy room to a larger room at higher level though."

Comfort Inn & Suites Taylor - Detroit

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, extremely clean, polite staff, safe parking. Two types of waffles"

MotorCity Casino Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Kinda expensive but very nice rooms, quiet. Nice casino and things in the casino to do. But not walk able to downtown. Free parking"

Hotel Indigo Detroit Downtown by IHG

10/10 Excellent

"Very convenient and close to little Cesar arena"

Fort Pontchartrain Detroit, a Wyndham Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Staff was very helpful. One thing I would like to tell you about. We spent one night coming from a smaller town. Not use to double glass doors to the entrance that required a key card to enter after a certain time. Security saw my friend open second set of doors(which were opened slightly) with her hands and he came out just chewing us out like no other (apparently he watches people on a camera in the hotel) and told us if we break the door we have to pay for it. He was extremely rude. We asked him to show us what to do and his reply was “figure it out”. We apologized but he was still super rude to us. So my suggestion is to put a notice on the door that explains that after a certain time of the evening that your key card is required to activate the door to open. Some people do dumb things because we are not use to big city things. He told us we would have to pay for damages if the door is broken by us. I would also like to point out that iF the door would have broke that would be the hotels responsibility to repair not ours. That’s what insurance is for! Now if we intentionally broke the door I could understand. This was a MISTAKE on our part. The door was not damaged FYI."

Atheneum Suite Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Great. Easy check in. Fabulous room."

Hollywood Casino at Greektown

10/10 Excellent

"Everything was great except no trash can in our room"

Hotel Houze Detroit Downtown

8/10 Good

"Really enjoyed my two nights at this hotel. The efficiency rooms allowed me to make my own meals, if I wanted to. It was nice to have the option. Made ample use of the coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. Rooms were cleaned and the couple of issues I had (which were nothing major) were addressed very quickly by the staff. I'd gladly stay again."

Trumbull and Porter Hotel

8/10 Good

"Was a very nice vibe only issue was the shower set up. Not a fan of no curtain. Overall great experience for a solo travel"
