"I stayed in this hotel in the cliff tower with 2 rooms for 4 nights with family. The entrance, lobby and overall size of the hotel is big. The hotel has its private beach and the cliff tower has a wide sea view. View from the balcony is amazing. Rooms are spacious. Breakfast has a wide spread and we enjoyed the delicious food everyday. Spread had Balinese, Chinese, Indian and Continental options. Compared to the size of the hotel, I felt its understaffed especially at the breakfast lobby. Overall, the hotel surely gives a felling of luxury and a five star experience. The location is remote and hence, to commute anywhere, one needs to have a vehicle at disposal."

"A++ This is essentially a Temple Palace that guests can rent rooms and stay at. The rooms are clean and dry. exceptionally well appointed and safe. Staff are friendly and attentive, but never overly intrusive or bothersome. The hotel lobby bars, restaurants and cafes each have their own unique character and the food Is excellent! I loved the pool the most. There are 2 pools. One has a waterslide. The other is an infinity pool that is very spacious and has the ocean in front and the grand backdrop of the cascading terrace hotel behind. Security patrol the grounds and lifeguards patrol the pools making this safe for both adults and children. Highly recommend this place!"

"Our stay at the Maya was absolutely amazing. We came for our honeymoon and they upgraded us to a private villa without asking. The service was impeccable from start to finish—everyone was so warm and helpful. The grounds themselves were gorgeous and well-kept, with amazing views of the rainforest and rivers. Our villa was clean, air-conditioned, and luxurious (came with a personal butler, Aria, who was very attentive). We would love to stay here again and recommend it to anyone staying in Ubud."
