"Everything was just right"

"Clean and basic bit has everything you need. Breakfast also basic. Hot sausages and scrambled eggs and cold choices of cereal, yogurt or hams and cheese. Room clean and neat like a hospital rather than hotel room but the location is perfect, walking distance to the centre and Potsdamer Platz, check point Charlie and Brandenburg Gate. Would use again as the price was good too. "

"The best part about the hotel is the convenience of the location (and the great view). As a solo traveler, the size of the room was fine, and I didn’t mind that only a curtain separated the shower from the rest of the room. However, what I did mind was the size of the pillows - half the width of a regular pillow and so soft they essentially collapsed as soon as your head touched hit them. The water pressure is also awful - the tap in my bathroom produced only boiling water and the temperature for the shower was either scalding or freezing. The worst part about the hotel is the fact that guests can do seemingly whatever they like, with no repercussions. I stayed here for 3 nights and every night was kept awake for hours on end by doors slamming, people shouting in the corridors, and rave-like music being blasted from my neighbours above. I don’t think I slept more than 4 hours. Only on one occasion did security come to tell people to be quiet (and that was at 6am - far too late to make a difference). I’m extremely disappointed and will not be returning. This hotel looks good, but unfortunately looks can be very deceiving."

"Excellent room and facilities in a great location "

"Great location-15min walk from Potsdamer Platz (so getting the train from the airport it easy)&Stadtmitte UBahn is a 2min walk. Max. 30minute walk from all the main tourist sites,but most are much closer e.g. 15mins to Brandenburg Gate. Checkpoint Charlie is at one end of the street & Communications Museum at other. Friedrichstraße,with lots of shops& restaurants is 5mins away. The street is quiet so no outside noise. Rooms are nice. Mine was pretty big, with desk, safe and spaces to hang clothes.Bed was quite hard,even by German/Euro standards! 2 diff. types of pillow,so you can choose soft or hard.Bathroom has a good counterspace & hairdryer. Shower has good pressure & gets hot enough.The towels are proper bath-sized. I've seen comments about cleanliness on other reviews but I had no issues there. No fridges or drink-making facilities in the rooms though. There are water dispensers & tea/coffee on some floors,but the cups are so teeny tiny,I'd recommend using your own bottle or travel mug. I had the breakfast (got a good deal to include when booked.Think it is€20 to pay as you go,which seems a lot for any breakfast).Cooked options like scrambled eggs,bacon,sausages,vegetables,boiled eggs.As well as cold meats,cheeses,fruits,cereals, breads &pastries.Vegetarians have some options but I think vegans would struggle. Staff nice. I'd want a fridge and/or kettle in the room for a long stay but would def. recommend for a short break (I stayed 3 nights) for the location & peace. "

"I stayed for two weeks and overall had a very positive experience. The staff is extremely friendly, check in and check out were smooth, and the pricing is reasonable. The location is convenient, close to bus lines, with taxis always available and Uber typically just two to three minutes away. The buffet breakfast is excellent, with a wide variety of meats, vegetables, fruits, cereals, and juices. There is also a convenient self service store on site where you can buy snacks, beverages, and essentials such as phone chargers. It is simple and efficient, just scan, pay, and go. The only downside was the WiFi. Be aware that your room location will directly affect your connectivity. During my 13 day stay, I was only able to connect to the hotel WiFi from my room about 2 percent of the time. The remaining 98 percent of the time I had to rely on my phone’s cellular data. In contrast, the connection in the lobby was stable and fast. I mentioned it to the staff and hope management improves coverage with proper signal extenders. If you rely on internet for work, having a backup option such as an eSIM is strongly recommended, as it was essential for me during my stay."

"Clean room, nice bed. Welcoming reception. They had some problems with the computer system on our arrival day, and the bar staff who were temporary staff were absolutely useless, but once the normal staff had taken over it was great."

"The lobby area is welcoming, the staff was friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are bright and spacious. The location is walkable and close to landmarks such as Potsdamer Platz and Checkpoint Charlie. A U-Bahn station is right around the corner. A free beverage voucher was offered for opting out of housekeeping for a day. I tried the breakfast buffet on my last day which had lots of delicious food options. My guest room was comfortable and clean, although had a faint plumbing/toilet odor upon entry. It was not strong enough to affect my stay, however. The wrong type of coffee pods were provided for the Lor coffee machine (didn't work). Fortunately, the adjoining room where my friends stayed had the proper machine so I could enjoy coffee in the mornings."
