Ozzie's Lakehouse - Comfy and cozy, with amazing lake views!

Ozzie's Lakehouse is a remodeled, welcoming vacation rental home on the shore of Big Lake Chetac near Birchwood WI. We provide 3 kayaks for our guests to use.

Bring your boat or rent one from one of several lakeside resorts (please ask for recommendations). Three resorts on the lake have sports bars with docking facilities so you can boat in for a beverage or a meal.

Family room sliding doors lead to a large deck overlooking the lake. Open floor plans and gathering areas on both levels. Lower level sliders open to a covered patio, a paved outdoor seating area, and a fire pit. Our home sleeps 8, and we have ample private parking (including room for trailers), a private dock and a grass lawn. Fully furnished and sparkling clean.

LOCATION:
We're close to Birchwood, where you'll find well-stocked mini-markets, gas stations, restaurants and stores.

We are licensed and compliant with all Sawyer County and State of Wisconsin laws and ordinances relating to Tourist Rooming Homes. Ozzie's Lakehouse is one of two vacation rental homes that we own and manage on Big Lake Chetac.

We've stayed on Big Chetak the last four years and recommend this lake home. It's a perfect location and plenty of room inside and out. Gerri and Bernie are great hosts no matter which of their VRBO homes you rent.

Christmas away from home
Wonderful place to stay, everything needed is there to cook, sleep, relax, even clean your fish that you will no dought catch, Walleye were biting well, with the space downstairs, there is plenty of separation and privacy if needed, we loved it, will be back for a summer time fling.

This is a great place to stay! Very beautiful location with being right on the water. Only minor complaint would have been the ants in the kitchen. However this was understandable given the area. We will be back again next year!

Lake Chetac - Ozzie’s
We really enjoyed our stay at Ozzie’s. We felt the property was very clean which impressed us the moment we opened the door. This home has sleeping space on both levels with a lower level walkout which is ideal. Great lake views, good fishing, and big enough for our family of 5. We appreciated the air conditioning on what was a hot and humid week too. The location on the south end of the lake offers easy access to Birchwood. The only negative is beyond the owner’s control. Swimming or fishing off the dock in late July is not an option. Very weedy and a lake that must have massive algae blooms. Still, we caught fish, had fun boating and visited the sand bar on the north end of the lake a couple times. We would return,

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin on the lake. House was very clean, well maintained, and comfortable. We were right on Lake Chetac and there were beautiful views of the lake from the large deck. Easy to get our boat to the pier through use of a public boat launch down the road. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, so we could cook most of our meals. Had fun wading in the water, fishing, and kayaking on the lake. Owners were very helpful and responded promptly to any messages. Would definitely stay here again.
