Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. The location was excellent and was within easy walking distance to the historic center of Bath.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful the room with spacious and clean and we slept very well because it was very quiet the location is excellent as a 10 minute walk right into the city center the breakfast is one of the best we've had

I never do reviews but felt as if I had to since my wife and I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect location to walk to all the sites in Bath. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Lovely property, a bit too far for me from the center of Bath, through an area that did not feel quite safe later in the evening. Otherwise, a lovely property, good value for the cost

Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable and well located. Affordable. If you are coming to Bristol by coach the hotel is within bag-dragging distance from the coach station. Staff very friendly, breakfast impressive in its variety, rooms clean and well maintained. Beds soft with crisp white clean linen. Will look forward to coming back.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Gainsborough. You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. It's just a block from the square and an easy 10 min walk from Bath Spa train station, so getting around the city was effortless. The hotel was spotless, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout my stay. It was so nice to find a Marriott and all that implies. Great room, great on site restaurant, excellent (in room) breakfast. Only one night, but a welcome oasis.

Have stayed at the du Vin many times on work trips to Bristol. I love the shower(!!) - but proportions of the room, the layout, the bed, the sheets and pillows - it’s all just right for me.

A very good location and all the staff was friendly and very helpful. A good breakfast in the morning. Would recommend highly
