Stayed for 3 days. The beds were comfortable and the room was neat. Would have liked a fan but other than that I can’t complain. Breakfast was very good and the staff was excellent. Would stay again.

Beautiful hotel, with fantastic gardens, exceptional rooms & service. We were lucky enough to have a large room on the third floor with gorgeous views of the gardens & hills in the distance.

The location was excellent and was within easy walking distance to the historic center of Bath.

The hotel staff was very nice and helpful the room with spacious and clean and we slept very well because it was very quiet the location is excellent as a 10 minute walk right into the city center the breakfast is one of the best we've had

After a long overnight flight from the US, we were delighted to be greeted by the friendly staff upon our arrival. Having a parking spot was key, and staff members kindly parked our car on arrival in the small garage and removed it when we departed as we were still getting used to the narrow lanes and left-side of the road driving. I never do reviews but felt as if I had to since my wife and I had such an amazing stay at this hotel. Perfect location to walk to all the sites in Bath. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful.

The hotel is located outside the city of Bath. It's about a 30 minute walk to the city centre, so we took a local bus. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel which is very convenient. Gems assisted us at check-in and printed out the bus schedule for us!! She was very pleasant as well as all the other staff. We were having dinner at the hotel, and she walked us to the dining room. Very lovely and quiet hotel within a comfortable walking distance to the tourist attractions, with free parking permit provided. Staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Really recommended for visitors with the car.

I really enjoyed my stay at The Gainsborough. You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. It's just a block from the square and an easy 10 min walk from Bath Spa train station, so getting around the city was effortless. I absolutely loved this hotel and would return in a heartbeat. This is the place to go if you want to feel pampered and taken care of. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. They make you feel at home. Their breakfast menu is amazing. The food is delicious and beats many of the cafes in the neighborhood. Their location is great- they are walking distance from everything, but still located in a quiet street where you can avoid too many tourists.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Brocks Guest House. The Managers, including Marta were very kind and explained the features of the area (attractions or places of interest) and told us if there was anything we needed to let them know-The Brocks House which is situated in an average neighborhood gives a traveler a "taste" of being a local for a period of time.
