10/10 Excellent

"My family stayed just one day and night, its was great. We had a small Bar lunch which was nice over looking the lake in the sunshine when we arrived. My little girl, who is Autistic was treated with respect and kindness by all the staff we met, they helped accomodate her needs to use the pool, and provided us a FOC pint of milk to put in our small fridge in our room. I never leave reviews of any kind, but felt the hotel went the extra mile to help us, and made our short stay fun and memorable, it deserved a mention."

"Excellent reception, shown to our room and the amenities all described etc. The room was excellent, really handy Bluetooth speaker. Bed was so comfy we almost missed breakfast. Dinner was very good, service attentive but not over bearing. The coffee was delicious. Breakfast had a good selection and the service once again superb. It appears that nothing is too much trouble. The only thing that let down our stay was our bathroom. 5 cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and the grout seemed to have disappeared. One segment of broken tile had lifted slightly and was quite sharp. Don't let one bathroom discourage you from staying at this otherwise superb hotel."

"David and Debbie were brilliant hosts. They were friendly and tentative throughout. The room was clean apart from a few dust spots. The room was basic but had everything you’d need for a few nights stay. The beds were comfy and the linen & towels were nice. There was a good tv with Netflix on it which was great. There is one free parking space per room which was very convenient and very helpful. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic and the perfect start to the day. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely stay again."

"Very friendly staff all round .The hotel needs a bit updating stairs to room ,we stayed in Apple blossom room which was spacious with a large bathroom .Mini fridge in room with fresh milk nice touch .The room was comfortable in the heatwave ,with a fan included . Felt the detail of cleaning could of been better ( big cobweb under window and handbasin cracked and behind the taps could of done with a clean ) The setting and surroundings really make this hotel a good find .Breakfast served by friendly member of staff ."
