McKenzie Bridge River's Edge Retreat, a cozy cabin on over two acres

8/10 Good
"Very nice cabin on a quiet off the Highway road. On two acres so it feels isolated and quiet, without close neighbors. Clean and well appointed with complete outfitted kitchen. The deck is great."

"The screened in patio and snuggled around the fireplace were our favorite places to sit. So cozy and wonderful listening to the river. We would have loved for the house to be closer to the river but there were chairs close that we were able to use. Very nice stay."

River House on the McKenzie

River House on the McKenzie

10/10 Excellent
"River House is a quiet little hideaway on the McKenzie River in central Oregon. It really is right on the river. You can stand in the bedroom and swear you are on a houseboat as the river lazily flows by. There is plenty to do in the area in fine outdoor Oregon fashion, and coming home to rest your bones on the outdoor back-porch chairs facing the river is a wonderful way to end the day. The home is friendly and accommodating. Other reviews mentioned the bed, but we found it to be firm and very comfortable."

"The cabin was as described. Some upgrades had been done since photos were taken. The instructions were clear. There were many towels. All appliances were in good shape. We had a lot of privacy, and it was nice to open the windows and hear the river. It was handy to be just down the road from the Blue Sky Market. The cabin was near many fun things to do. It was a cozy spot to return to after a long day of adventure."
