"A very quaint period public house. Our room was quite small but definitely adequate for our 2 night stay. Obviously to be expected with a quaint period public house. The bar was well stocked and plenty of room at the bar, surrounding tables and restaurant. The staff were very knowledgeable, engaging and friendly. Overall a very pleasurable stay and my wife is already planning to revisit with a friend. The 8 Bells is a perfect location to walk to the Bolney wine vineyard and neighbouring...

"Room not big enough for : suitcases What floor space there was was taken by a free standing AC unit the size of a small bar refrigerator which roared like a 747 picking clothes for the day involved houdini like manoeuvres!"

"Great stay here - we arrived around 20:00 on a horrible stormy Saturday and were greeted and checked in cheerfully and quickly. Room was small but had everything we needed. We had dinner in the pub and that was a genuinely lovely, I'd go back here again just for a meal. Portions were generous and the food was delicious. "There is unknown charge, which was not communicated in advance."

"Lindsay was a really nice host, we could have what we wanted for breakfast, there was tea, coffee sugar and milk in the room. Our room was very spacious and bathroom was very large and well layed out, our room looked out on to the garden which was nice."

"スタッフさんも優しく、朝食もいただけるのでありがたかったです。"

"Convenient and very clean room, easy to access after hours. Very helpful staff who were flexible about check-in times. Excellent breakfast in the pub."

"We booked through Expedia who then passed the wrong dates onto the accommodation."

"Nice stay and friendly staff. You cannot order food if you arrive after 8:30pm and there is no laundry service if you stay for a long time. Overall very good and beds comfortable. Rooms vary and there is no facility to set the temperature if the room is cold. I can recommend for convenience and the breakfast is excellent."

"Lovely hotel, modern throughout, and incredibly comfortable beds. Super convenient location very close to Gatwick Airport. We received a discount voucher upon check-in for food and drink, which was a nice touch. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and checking out was a breeze."
