"This had to be the worst experience ever with Hotels.com. We got to this place with our 105 years old grandmother only to find that nobody knew what was going on. We waited for over 2 hours for someone to come to meet us and let us into the apto and nobody came. The front desk were rude and told us they did not have anything to do with the reservation and the phone provided was not in service. After a long wait we had to go rent another hotel. However it was his mistake Because our vacation was days away I agreed to re book. He promised me a luxurious space with a cook and concierge. "I chose El Caribe because I was attracted to its history, tradition and eco friendly grounds. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly, polite, helpful and eager to help. Unfortunately, the management needs to do a much better job of training the staff at the restaurant where breakfast is served.
