We had a great stay at the Hotel Boston! This place is a fantastic deal - it is just steps away from the T's Green Line, and one block away from some wonderful restaurants (we loved La Catrina) as well as Whole Foods. It is in a quiet, residential area, and the parking is quite convenient. The rooms are clean and come with everything you could need including a kitchenette. The luxury shampoo, lotion, and soap provided in the room (products from upstate NY) were also a great touch. They always had ice water, tea, and coffee in the lobby. And the staff were extra friendly and accommodating. This place is a wonderful find and we will be back!

If you wish to enjoy your visit to Boston don’t stay here. The furniture appears to be goodwill cast offs. There was an exposed electrical outlet. There was no service to speak of and the building does not appear to be maintained. Adding insult to injury was the weekend price of over $250 per night.

The door was broken and unaligned, couldnt close it without forcing it closed. Nats everywhere most likely due to the open cracks on the door. We were just too tired to go complain. The beds were comfortable and clean otherwise we would have been long gone.

We had a room with two queen bed reserved--there were 4 travellers. When we arrived they said they overbooked and had to change to a room with 1 bed and they would provide a roll away. This was unacceptable. The rollaway was awful and my husband had to sleep on the floor. They overbooked and we had no alternative.

The room had a bad smell. Smelled like wet carpet or something damp. The pillows on the bed were very small and uncomfortable to sleep on. The shower head had a very small and weak stream of water pouring through it. The shower needs to have a stronger water stream.

It was affordable. It's located close to several amenities including a grocery store and is located in a quiet neighbourhood. Appliances are very dated and don't have kitchenware despite having a mini kitchen so make sure you bring your own kitchen stuff when you book this room. Staff is very pleasant and accommodating. This room has a particular strong odor that smelled like a smoker smkoed a chimney a day before us. The unlimited tea and coffee is a plus but some coffee pots were already cold when I tried to pour some into my cup. There was no dish and body soap only a hand soap. There was also a fly lurking inside the room but overall it was a comfortable stay for the price.

Very bad experience

Only 6 Bath towels given for 2 nights of 5 people despite of many times requests. (2 for 2nd day) A lady working at front on evenings was so rude to us and other customers too. Many customers complained about lack of bath towel. Worst hotel I have ever stayed. Unbelievable required towels were not given. It would be minimum necessity. No breakfast. No extra bed given even after request accepted. Location was good but had very bad time in stays. Because of her attitude to us and other attitudes. Should’ve chosen other hotel. Not worth for the cost.

We started off in room 206. Carpets were duper dirty and sticky, tv remote didnt work. Slept one night of our 2 night stay. The next day we realized the wondow was broken and didnt close and THERE WAS A RAT. they switched us to room 201. Ac wasnt workimg we thought it just needed to boot up. Some hrs later it still wasnt, with a baby thats no bueno. Room was still dorty but not as bad as the first. They switched us to 212 after that. AC worked, still dirty, but the nest of all 3. But the toiley didnt worl properly. The ONLY good thing about this stay was the customer service of the 3 people we spoke to over the course of our stay.

Nothing like the picture

The room we booked with 2 queens was not available and we were forced to take an "upgrade" to a King + pullout. The front desk was apologetic and suggested we could change the next day if a 2Q room opened but did not offer other compensation. The room looked nothing like the picture. It was falling apart with signs of heavy wear and staining on walls, caulk, grout, carpet, etc. The wall was patched but not painted and carpet "baseboard" was peeling away from the wall in places. Bathroom fixtures appeared clean but the floor was not, with hair and dirt from prior occupants in multiple locations. One TV remote had dead batteries, the other was worn and the Ch+/- buttons did not work properly. AC did not work in one room and a fan was present as a substitute. Exterior was also aging with rust and decay in many places. Parking was on-site and $25 per day. It seems likely they are understaffed, though we did not ask.

This was a trip for a follow up at the hospital with our Daughter who went through Open Hart Surgery, this was not a trip for pleasure nor for business. When we arrived (around 8-9pm) there was no one at the desk, we waited (in this unsafe area) for over 20 minutes for someone to come to the counter. The room was disgusting, when i went to the front desk to complain that there are wet stains in the middle of the bed, we were told "sorry we cant help you". we ended up sleeping in the car.

La habitación muy cómoda, limpia y espaciosa. Las almohadas ridículamente pequeñas y duras, muy incómodas para dormir. El recibimiento en el check-in muy frío, ni una sonrisa, ni un bienvenidos, ni ofrecen ayuda a menos que lo pidas. Todos lo demás muy bien.

I wouldn’t ever stay here again. Not for the price. Facility is filthy, there were no pillows. Our room was 77 degrees because we were “over the boilers?” Why build a room that way? The solution was to open the window on the first floor. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all unless the price reflected how gross it was. We checked out early and stayed for maybe $40 more at the nicer Marriott down the street. It was disgusting
