"We had a great stay in a beautiful, very peaceful room. No through traffic past the hotel so very quiet in the city centre. Brilliant.
Staff were excellent.
Breakfast was quite expensive at £22 each so we were quite disappointed that there was no fruit and yoghurt to choose from. It was on the menu so you got what you were given. It would have been better to serve yourself at the breakfast buffet table.
Also the poor guy in the Conservatory serving customers was absolutely run off his feet. People were waiting for tea, coffee, toast, ketchup etc etc...hence frustrated customers and cold breakfast while waiting for the extras everyone needed.
Not his fault at all but two staff would have been so much better."
