The most amazing B&B I have stayed at. Their home is gorgeous, Caroline the host is fantastic. Bed was great, fresh milk at night so you can have tea in your room before breakfast. The breakfast was fantastic and had everything you could desire. What a view with a lovely old church right across the street. Highlight of places we have stayed in our 17 day holiday.

Upscale coastal beach, beautiful scenery up in mountains, surrounded by ocean views and surfing waves.

Very nice staff and very clean and maintained room. Access to the beach across the street. Nice to have the restaurant downstairs and outdoor area in the back.

The location was great

It was perfect, friendly staff and beautiful views

Quietness. Smell of countryside but closeness to town. Good breakfast

This is annokd hotel maintained beautifully. The staff was very helpful. Taking the time to find me a room near the elevator which i really appreciated. I woukd not however recommend eating at thur restaurant, called the bank . I waited iver an hour, with noone advising me of the wait- and then the pork belly was dry and stringy- some parts inedible. To their credit tho they did not charge me for the meal. Its in the old part of town which also was nice.

Beautiful hotel with a breathtaking view!

A very nice stay in Appledore, one night of a longer trip. The staff is exceptionally professional, and nice. My room was clean and comfortable, and dinner in the Pub delicious!

The room itself, Beaulieu, was in the 300 year-old barn overlooking gardens filled with spring flower blossoms. Ancient stone walls in the room contrasted with the most comfortable bedding and down-filled pillows you can imagine. Beautiful, contemporary bathroom with skylight includes a big tub to soak in and a separate shower with huge shower head. The real experience, however,...

I had a very speedy check in, and the team at Avoncourt were very helpful accomodating a quick and delicious breakfast, and even giving me a choice of which room I wanted on my arrival. I will definitely stay here again if I come back to Ilfracombe!

My room was in the rear corner away from both roads, so was wonderfully quiet. Everyone there was wonderful, it was great to hang out in the garden and the bar. Terrific stay!
