"We had such a lovely stay at The Ickworth Hotel. The place itself is beautiful — the grounds are stunning, and the whole property has such a peaceful, relaxing feel. Everything was really well kept, and it honestly felt like a little escape from everyday life. The staff were all friendly and helpful, but I especially want to mention Millie at reception. She was so kind and welcoming — really went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her positive energy and smile made such a difference to our stay. Everytime I had an interaction with her it felt like I’ve known for ages and she’s just one of my close friends. It is really important to cherish people like her because for a guest they’re the faces of the Hotel and their behaviour can make or break guests experience.
