"The room was decent, I think it could have been cleaned a little bit better. I could see stains on the wall were something was spilled and dripped down. Bathroom was decent, but had stains. Toilet had a janky handle. Rug could have been vacuumed better. But, the kitchen is nice size. Has a full size stove, full size refrigerator, dishes, and utensils. Also has a living room area. Staff was friendly. Just make sure you book the right Sonesta, there are three of them, two of them being Sonesta Suites. This one has a 15-20 minute walk to the French Quarter. The WW2 museums is 2 blocks away. Lots of great restaurants in the area. Not a bad choice for a hotel, just a few minor issues, but would recommend. "

"We had a few small snafus but all in all it was pretty great. Our room was nice and off of the courtyard. We were on the ground floor and we liked it a lot. Due to Mardi Gras the pool was closed the whole time as they sell washroom passes is my guess. Not sure if those bathroom passes were worth it. I would have preferred to have the pool open but I know it's a great time to make extra money. There was a lot going on with people coming in and out. We asked for more supplies which never came but we found the cart and the cleaning staff were able to help us directly. All things considered if you want to be on the parade route it's a great option. We had wanted to see some of the walking parades so it was a bit far to get to where we wanted to go but it was a great location. "

"Very large property but very confusing elevator and you have to pay a $50 fee which pays for WiFi, 2 drinks at the bar and bottled water. It was an additional payment when you arrive so the price wasn't as great when you tack that on. It is a convenient location but with the $45 overnight parking and additional fees it was way more than expecting to pay! "
