"Location central and close to transport. Easy checkin with clean and comfortable room. Did not have breakfast, bar available but no dinner service although vending machines. Skip these, there is a great supermarket next door, ready to go meals.

THIS is a superb choice. We felt safe and oriented because it is near multiple forms of transportation. The hotel is very clean, the hotel staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. The breakfast would be reason enough alone to stay here: the choices are first class and inmaculately presented. The breakfast staff are polite and efficient. I do not know if you can do any better than Thon Hotel EU. The day we arrived we were greeted by the Hotel Manager and he was extremely kind and helpful....

I flew in from the US in the morning and went to the hotel 3 hrs before checkin time. The staff was super efficient in getting me the first available room from housekeeping. And I was able to refresh before going on to the walking tour of Brussels. Bar staff is super nice too, drinks variety excellent. Highly recommend!

Beautiful facility, extremely convenient to train station and Grand Place. Very easy check-in and check-out, no surprises.
But it's not for everyone: the rooms are tiny, and the stairs are very narrow and steep. Even for Europe, the rooms are tiny, and the stairs are narrow and steep. We were a couple staying with carry-on bags only, and we had no place to unpack.
