"Very nice older hotel with lovely decor. There is a lift. We had a huge room with comfortable beds. The mini-fridge was a nice bonus! The bath had a great shower with beautiful tile. However, it could do with another towel rack or hooks to hang up wet towels. The room was quiet, which we appreciated. The hotel is across the street from the train station and Union Square, which offers stores, restaurants, coffee shops. Sainsburys is next door. Great location as we were arriving & departing by train. Staff was friendly & helpful. Would stay here again."

"We booked the hotel as we were visiting the C&J Live for a show. I booked for my girls' birthdays and let the hotel know about it, and they kindly decorated the room for them, leaving juice, sweets, a teddy bear, and a card for each of them, and personally wished them happy birthdays, which I thought was very nice. The rooms were spotless, as was the rest of the hotel breakfast was good too 😋 I would definitely return."
