"We stayed for a couple of nights. The room was incredibly comfortable and quiet, certainly the best night's sleep we've had in local hotels in the area. The dinner menu is a bit limited, although the pizzas were good. They have just added cooked items to the breakfast but have a complicated charging system. Preferable just to add an extra amount to the b & b rate. The local countryside is lovely we had a couple of walks after dinner."

"This was good value for money. Right in the center of Stamford, so very convenient. The room was clean, beds comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast selection was good and the staff very helpful and friendly. Parking at the hotel was limited but we got a space. "I live in the US and this is my second stay at the Three Swans. I like the fact it was an old coaching Inn … on booking I was not advised or asked if a room up a lot of steep stairs at the very top of the building would work for me…. I am 75 and it was hard work! The staff are generally helpful especially the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was excellent. The courtyard that runs alongside the building full of comfortable tables/chairs and many boxes of flowers is a delight. I love Market...

"This hotel is a typical English pub hotel best suited to those with a car. We had requested a ground floor room but were allocated an upstairs room on arrival. However, this was changed by the receptionist and the room we got was fine. It was a good size and looked out on the bar courtyard, fortunately quiet as it was cold and wet outside. The bathroom was fine and bed comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the evening meals were good."

"A relatively quiet hotel, just far enough from access to the main A1. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and basic tea coffee facilities. Good for an overnight stop"

"Charming pub with rooms in the courtyard. Each one had parking outside. Very spacious room with comfortable bed, smart tv and tea & coffee making facilities. Good size en suite with great shower. Towels provided along with a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Breakfast was made to order along with continental options. Staff friendly and attentive. "The lift was broken so the service lift was the only option. However the landing areas were 'behind the scenes' and poor quality. I did not much care for the long black hairs stuck to the walls of the shower from a previous guest. Clearly not a good cleaning regime. The shower has my pet hate. The shower controls are behind the door. You can't use them without being inside it and it is too small to avoid getting the inevitable blast of cold water that is living in the pipes before whatever...

"Lovely room and facilities but why charge for car park if you’re staying, appreciate it’s near the airport but there must be a way of controlling access without penalising guests who have already paid to stay."
