"We enjoyed our stay. The staff were all lovely. The hotel is tired and could do with a refurb. However it was clean and the food, both at breakfast and in the restaurant, was of a high standard. It was also well situated for travelling around both by public transport and by car. We would definitely go back"

"What a lovely place to stay. Very friendly staff, everywhere clean. Food was excellent and lots of it, breakfast was great. Plenty of car parking. Short drive into Durham, couldn’t fault it"
