"Absolutely loved the cabin. The setting is so private. Very clean and well equipped for all your needs. The hot tub was excellent after spending all day at the Biltmore. Beds are very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your wonderful place."

"The sellers were awesome...very communicative and accomodating. They have a crockpot, can opener, potato peeler, etc. which was helpful. The only bathroom supplies are soap and 3 rolls of TP (in case that is helpful to stop on the way in). They spent a lot of time on details and decorating and it was cozy and wonderful. Our only negatives is that someone came by while we were there just before we were getting in the hottub and put chemicals in it so we didn't feel comfortable using it for a while and then didn't get a chance later. Also, the neighbors hound barks some but honestly none of that is the owners fault. I would def stay here again and if you have kids or people that don't mind sleeping double and on couches you could easily fit 8."

This cabin had everything you could possibly need, extra blankets, lap blankets, every kitchen utensil imaginable, and a fully stocked spice cabinet. The views from the back porch were amazing. One of the best rentals my family has stayed at in a long time."

"It seemed a bit rustic on arrival but it fit the three of us perfectly. The driveway is a bit tricky as it’s a one-lane road and you can’t see the lights but worked out fine. It would be nice if wet could turn off the bright outside light but didn’t bother the sleeping. Hot tub has great jets. Would return."

"We enjoyed our stay and had fun exploring all the little extra spaces. The basement with the pool table was nice. The fire table on one of the decks was a nice surprise and we enjoyed birthday s’mores. Kenny was quick on responses and the house had everything we needed. Short drive to Chimney Rock. The gravel driveway was a little steep but we made it okay, but a small/low car might struggle. Overall, a great time celebrating a 50th birthday!!"

"This 100 year old cabin was very cozy and comfortable for my wife and I. Our dog had fun there as well. It took a couple of days for the spirit of the cabin to draw us closer and welcome us. That might sound hokie but we felt more at home after a couple of days. Then we didn’t want to leave. As others have mentioned, guests be forewarned that parking is a small spot in front of the cabin. A large SUV is difficult to park and not block the road. The “road” is loose gravel and that makes it harder to park. The steps leading up to the cabin are stone and while stable they are uneven so caution is advised if you are unsteady on your feet. We got to know some of the community by eating every morning at The Local Joint in Fairview which is just a few miles from the cabin. The food and service is fantastic. Don’t be concerned that it’s connected to a gas station. We went there everyday for a reason. The hiking at bearwallow trail is very close to the cabin and is worth the trip. Chimney rock is also fairly close to the cabin. The drive along the river will break your heart as the devastation from the hurricane is hard to see. They are building back and the local restaurants and shops are really grateful for the tourism dollars as they have suffered great loss. Lake Lure is also close by. We ate dinner at LaStrada which overlooks lake lure and the mountain vistas are breath taking. Order the Cesar Salad and baked Manicotti. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy!"
