So, arriving late at night into Cairo international, the Visa, and passport control is a process, while in line I was communicating with the owner of the hotel, Mohamed,(he has the patience of a saint) met me and drove us back to the hotel,stopping on the way for fresh sugar cane juice,which I appreciated! Sofitel really surprised me! I found this hotel from a TikTok I saw. I had no idea how amazing it would turn out. The property itself is immaculate. The rooms are stunning. Fairmont Nile City was a beautiful hotel. I booked the signature room which allowed access to the Gold Lounge on the 15th floor. The Gold Lounge provides free wifi (free wifi also in hotel room), work space on 2nd level, free breakfast, free light lunch, and free happy hour light dinner (wine and beer included). This hotel exceeded my expectations, I've been to Cairo multiple times before but never did i feel so comfortable and safe like this. The facilitates were numerous and excellent, rooms were quiet and comfy.

Nice hotel and strictly safe security check at the gate as well as the entrance to the lobby. the rooms are kind of old but clean. Breakfast is average. The terrace is beautiful thats where the outdoor breakfast seating area is at. Honestly, the amenities could be better. Location is convenient walkable restaurants and fast food places. Very busy area.

I can't say enough praises for this hotel. We stayed here for two nights/three days. Everything was on spot. The staff was helpful. The rooms were very clean, everything well maintained. They can arrange a guide to take you to the pyramids, which we did (but to be honest you can do it yourself with Uber and you'll get the same experience.)
