"We received such a friendly welcome from the owners and all the staff we encountered were very friendly and the service was excellent. We never waited long for food or a drink at the bar with the landlords really keeping an eye on things. The room we had was very large and comfortable in a cottage just outside. Good choice of food which was served to perfection. We have stayed in many pubs over the years and this may have not been the poshest but was certainly one of the most welcoming. We felt...
