"This is a solid tradesmens' hotel, clean basic service and a friendly, personable staff. If you want slick and modern, this is not the place for you; but if you want reliable services and a decent breakfast, this could be your home-from-home."
"Grand , delightful, perfect wedding venue or short stay . I had a mansion room , paid extra , was smaller than expected . Very warm at night need the fan provided . Fairly clean and updated . Room was freshened up in a fashion for the 2nd night , after a very sweaty first night could have refreshed pillow covers but didn’t . Food was expensive and very limited at the hotel . Opted to eat elsewhere the 2nd night . Grounds are gorgeous . Sunny days sat out . Gym is large and very well equipped ....
"Enjoyed staying here: staff, cleanliness, bed, quiet, air conditioning… due to my age and recent surgery requested a ground floor room. Was assigned one…a bit of a walk but prefer to the initial offer of a 4th story room. Will note this for future reservations here. Excellent hotel to spend the night for exit flights from Heathrow. The Staff were very helpful, friendly and accommodating.

We stayed at the Hotel for two nights and had Dinner both nights. The Food was really nice and again, service was good.
If I was being picky, it would’ve been nice to have had some complimentary Bottled Water in the Room on arrival.
I would certainly stay here again and plan to do so in a few months time."
