"Good location, but no elevator."

"Stayed for one night. Staff very welcoming and smiling. Club doom was spacious and bed comfortable. A little bit of maintenance is needed but nothing of real note. Bar area was lively, not surprising as England vs Norway football that evening! We just had a pizza and that was well cooked and tasty. Breakfast was a selection of continental and a hot buffet. Continental selection was good, the buffet not so good. Avon needed a little more cooking and fries eggs left in trays under heat lamps are never very appealing. Buffet selection was also a little limited. All - in - all we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again for an overnight but not for any longer than that. All the staff we had contact with were helpful and cheerful so a big thumbs up to them!"

"A clean well equipped hotel with super helpful staff. We were travelling from Devon to see a show in London so getting back home on same night not possible. This was a third of the cost of london equivalent hotels but far better than most. Plenty of late trains to Basingstoke leaving us closer to home after a sleep in a very comfy bed."

Hilton London Heathrow Airport Terminal 5 Hotel Conference Centre

"This hotel was clean, friendly staff, great bartenders. It was a bit confusing as we thought it would be accessible to terminal 5, but we had to take a paid for shuttle to the hotel. We were staying there because our flights had been cancelled and rerouted and we checked in at 4pm and out at 6am. Our checked bags had stayed at the airport so we had no clothes, toiletries, nothing. The hotel provided one toothbrush but never brought the second. There was nowhere to buy basics like deodorant, a t-shirt, etc. it would be great to have some options as I’m sure a lot of travelers end up there then flights go wrong."

"Make sure you do your research. There is no air conditioning even though I would expect this in a 4* Hotel. The windows only open an inch as well. The property is vast as well and if you stay in the Green or Blue area it is a 10/15 minute walk with limited lifts in split levels. People were getting lost and going back to reception. You also need to book time slots for the pool which is not stated online. Breakfast was impressive though with a good variety of full English and Continental."

"Just had a two night stay here for the landrover fest and almost everything was great. The house keeping staff kept all areas clean and tidy and the room was no exception. Air conditioning was a must have in 30° temperatures which enabled a decent sleep on the comfortable beds. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly as were the restaurant staff also. Star of the show was Andrea, she couldn't do enough for us and treated my son and me like friends she'd known for ages. There was a small charge for parking but it was plentiful and secure so no problems there. So landy show all day Saturday and the England Norway game in the evening after a very agreeable steak. I'd certainly do it again, many thanks for a lovely break people."
