Hotel Calella de Palafrugell

10/10 Excellent

"The location was perfect right up the street from the beach and right near a huge grocery store. We walked everywhere. The restaurant recommendations were great and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best I’ve had with fruit, yogurt, coffee, eggs, bread, meat and cheese! The front desk was very helpful and arranged a taxi for us upon our arrival to the local train station. The room was small for three people but a standard hotel room size. They accommodated us by having 3 beds. Having the patio out back was an added bonus that we enjoyed in the evenings drinking wine and playing games. Also good for hanging out wet towels after the beach. Our room was near the breakfast area and I was worried it would be loud in the morning but it wasn’t. Everyone was very nice and I would definitely stay again!"

"Nous avons adoré notre séjour! Joël est adorable, très arrangeant et super réactif. L’appartement est magnifique et très confortable, super propre et à deux pas des plages. Il n’y avait pas de Clim mais l’air parrain et les ventilateurs ont largement suffit à passer de bonnes nuits. Et enfin calella de palafrugell est une très mignonne petite station balnéaire avec plein de bonnes adresses à découvrir."

"Good communication before and during stay. Lovely house with good air con, lovely clean pool amd good facilities. Would benefit from some extra recliner chairs but there was plenty of space to relax on steps and outdoor table.and chairs. Have left a beach parasol and few useful items for cooking in hope it is useful to next guests. Great week. Thank you."

"Vi var to familier som hadde en fin uke i huset. Veldig stort uteområde med tennisbane, basketbane, volleyballnett og rent fint basseng. Grill og fint spiseområde. Perfekt for en aktiv gjeng. Fem minutt å gå ned til sentrum av Calella de Parafrugell som er en fantastisk koselig liten by med gode restauranter. Verten var lett å kommunisere med og innsjekk/utsjekk gikk raskt og effektivt. Huset hadde tre enheter, noe som var perfekt for oss. Kommer gjerne tilbake!"

"We found Hotel Portbo to be a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the beautiful Calella de Palafrugell. There is a friendly and accommodating staff, the accommodations were clean and well cared for, and the hotel is well-located only about a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and the center of town. The hotel does not have elevator, but the gentleman who checked us in was very kind to carry our bags to the third floor upon arrival and departure. Many reviewers praised the free daily breakfast, and I agree that it was a special treat! The buffet was outstanding, with an extensive selection of fresh, delicious foods which were beautifully arranged and were as delicious as they looked! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would heartily recommend Hotel Portbo to other travelers."

"Fantastic location, just two minute walk from shops, restaurant, and several beaches. Accomodations were well stocked with blankets, towels, beach towels and beach gear (including an umbrella and chairs).The balconies are a lovely place to enjoy your morning coffee and enjoy a slower pace of life. Two small supermarkets are just down the street with basic necessities for your stay. Trish was so welcoming and helpful with anything we needed. It’s truly a fantastic place to stay while enjoying Calle de Parafruegell."

"Comfortable beds, very cleam bedroom, bathroom good shower, thogh bery limited wardrobe and storage within the bedroom. We had a room with sea view and balcony. Breakfast was ok, good selection including hot foods. We had stayed here before and new yhe hotel. Car parking is very limited to few vehicle's unless ypi want to parl in the extensive surrounding grounds. This can be inconvenient. Hotel Gatbi is on a steep hills unsuitable If you have mobility challenges, J "
