"First the front desk people were incredibly helpful, particularly Lorenzo, who was one of the most friendly and dedicated staff I’ve ever seen. That guy can do anything! They helped us with restaurants, bus schedules, beach towels and even a loaner umbrella—everything we needed. The hotel is very nice with a good breakfast and great location. I’d only wish the rooftop bar was open every night, but the nearby plaza was great anyway. Note that if you are driving there you need to ignore the “residents only” sign to get to the place they tell you to unload. Although the lot they directed me too was only a 5 minute walk, so just driving there and walking to the hotel would have been simpler. If you travel light I’d call and ask about that option."

"Wonderful hotel. Dinner on the outside Terrace was excellent. Super good service. The only issue is the two close beaches are VERY small. So they crowd up early. You can walk (20+ minutes each way) to the public beach at Aguia Blava which is large. Driving is easy to the beach, just a couple of minutes but the parking lot is full by 9:30am so you have to go early."

"The house is amazing. It has everything you could wish for a holiday in Costa Brava. It's located very close to several beautiful coves in the area. Great pool, wonderful hot tub, and lovely views. If I had to mention one downside, the access to the residential area is via a very narrow two-way road, but once you've driven it 2 or 3 times, it's just part of the charm! Communication with the owner was super fast and he was very helpful! A fantastic holiday."
