"We had a fabulous time at grandpas beach house. The home was very inviting and comfortable. It is located within walking distance to many restaurants and bars, shopping, banking and the library. Only a few minutes drive to the nearest beach. Port Isabel is a lovely place to stay for the winter. Would highly recommend it!"

"Yes the pools were beautiful. Laundry facilities at the park were great. Restaurant at the park was great and the house was equipped with what we needed. Very comfortable, quiet stay. Road bike around Port Isabel and South Padre Island. Good restaurants in the area."

"We enjoyed our stay at The Kingfish Cottage. The house was as described; the location perfect! Mostly walkable, we enjoyed our strolls to restaurants, shops and grocery stores. There are definitely updated that could be made, but a great stay for the cost. Owner was super responsive to our questions and concerns! A huge thanks for that! Wild totally recommend this place!"

"We loved the place it was very clean and we could fish off the deck and it was very quite there. It was great sitting out on the deck and grilling. I was a short drive to the island and resturants. Will be rebooking when we go back. "
