It is a large fine sand beach, surrounded by sand dunes.
Many people come the weekend but it is very nice and quiet from Monday to Friday, even in August!
There is a few "chiringuitos" to take the "cañas" on the beach and a wide variety of restaurants in the maritim promenade, wich is pedestrian and ideal for a walk after dinner or running first time in the morning.
It is a very familiar tourism zone, only two or three hotels and many apartments.

"From the planning stage to check in Joaquin and Daniel were very helpful. The villa is in a nice quiet neighborhood about 10 min walk from a Farmacia with minimart and 25 min walk from the village centre of La Canyada. The pool was very large and much appreciated by all. "Beautifully presented, modern villa with a spacious, well kept out door area which was great for the kids to play in. The pool was a very good size and very clean. Our boys were in it all day, every day! Lisa was a great host. She kept in touch before and during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend Villa Casa Segunda and would love to return."
