Our cottage was clean and comfortable, except for the dead bugs around the kitchen area- guess we’re glad they’re dead? Woman in office wasn’t exactly friendly- watched us so carefully during the free breakfast that we felt like we were stealing! We’d go back- nice location, good price.

Although we were offered AC after we mentioned it was very hot in the room ,it could have been included as an option from the first night. We didn’t realize how close we were to the highway so opening up the windows at night for fresh or cooler air allowed the noise of the steady stream of traffic - which was surprising for this time of year and little restful sleep. The AC probably drowns out the noise of traffic. I was a little surprised that our room was also not made up after the first night. Part of going on vacation is returning to your room with a freshly made bed , replenishing coffee and fresh cups / water glasses. Simple pleasures for the price makes the difference. This was a little disappointing as with the ants that were crawling around . As a beach town , it should be expected that guests need to take multiple showers during the day and may need fresh towels. Most hotels have a sign to either ‘make up the room ‘ or ‘ do not disturb’ . Just very disappointing.

These cabins are quaint and comfortable. Built in the 1920s, they offer a trip In a Time Machine though with super comfortable beds and HDTV cable. Owner is super friendly. Highly recommended.

I loved our little cottage stay here! Only mistake I made is that not all the cottages have kitchenettes, which I did not know, and we got one without, so our afternoon charcuterie and homemade breakfast plans were slightly altered, but we really enjoyed ourselves anyways. Everything is clean, staff super friendly, continental “to-go” style breakfast and coffee was great.
