Such a great place to stay and yes reserve a space for dinner there at the property. The food was amazing. We spent 2 weeks traveling around Italy and it was our top meals we had. Luigi was so kind and helpful. I did not catch his wife’s name but she was also very nice. They went above and beyond and they take great pride in their business. So happy with our stay. The staff was helpful and very sweet! We stayed here for one of our honeymoon days and thought it was very cute with a wonderful view. Great location! We were able to park our moped for free too. Definitely recommend!

Right in middle of everything and quiet at the same time

This is a spectacular boutique hotel! The views of the coastline and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms cannot be beat. This is 5-stars for the room views, the service, the updated exquisiteness of the décor, and the added amenities (pool, balconies, outdoor dining, access to oceanfront restaurants, etc. Don’t expect a Sheraton or Hilton type place….this isn’t that, and you shouldn’t be here looking for that here. We had an amazing view of the sea from which we dined at our balcony a couple of times. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the dinner was great. They were able to book our tours and arrange transportation from the hotel to the airport/train station. We would highly recommend staying here.

The location was excellent, close to the lift you can take up from the port if you’re coming by boat. Close to lots of restaurants and a great view of the sea and port. We were upgraded to a king room with the largest shower I have ever seen in Italy. The front desk staff was super friendly. Daily happy hour and breakfast were wonderful perks. Would definitely recommend.

This was our first visit to Sorrento. The hotel was beautiful with a great full breakfast. Room was spacious, staff was friendly & the housekeepers sweet. We had dinner twice in the rooftop dinning room overlooking the bay. The sunset was amazing. The waitstaff friendly , the food five star. We also danced to the music which made it very romantic. We just returned from a 5 day stay at Villa Boheme and our trip could not have been better! Right from the start we were in awe with the surrounding beauty and stunning accommodations. Emilia, Sal and Joseph (?) were there to help with our luggage as there are at least 95 steps to get down to the villa...such an incidental considering everywhere in Positano is on the side of a mountain! The Ara Maris which is referred to as the new hotel was one of my best stays at any hotel in all my travels, which is considerable. The service from all the staff whether it be registration, concierge, dining, pool, cleaning or spa wax consistently top notch. The path winding through the cliffs to the small bar and lounge chairs along the water is very unique. Very small wading pool on upper terrace. Classic double room was small and non-descript. Disappointed with the size of balcony and the sea view from room!

Not only is the location of this hotel fantastic, overlooking the Ischia Ponte and the Castel Aragonese and in the proximity of great restaurants, the hotel proprietor, Anna Buono is generous and gracious, and provided us with really helpful pointers on what to see and do while we were in Ischia. Anna truly loves what she does and you can tell that in the way she treats her guests. Great location less than a block from the main plaza. Our room was right next to the elevator and we never heard a sound. Only a few blocks to the train station and bus stops. Many great restaurants nearby. Best breakfast buffet in our whole 26 days in Italy. Left a jacket and they had it sent to our next hotel on Capri for a minimal charge.

This hotel was above and beyond... from the second we walked in, the staff ensured we felt like we are on vacation. They assisted us with as many things as possible. Truly the most incredible service. They gave recommendations for food right when we got there and on our last day when the ferry was canceled assisted with helping me find other transportation. Best breakfast of my life. We were celebrating my 30th birthday and they brought me a candle!! The shower was the shower of my dreams. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Very nice hotel. Great location, very clean, and the staff were helpful. The But…The only downside was the discotheque club located beneath the hotel. Opened at 11pm until 3am. The music bass was very noticeable. Have to imagine all low floor hotel rooms hear and feel this. The three of our phones sound apps were on high volume to try to washout music.

This was the perfect stay near the amalfi coast. Breathtaking views from the balcony and excellent service by the staff. I was really pleased and will be coming back
