"Good location - close to shopping/groceries/old city. Parking included which is very nice.Quite clean overall. Felt quite secure as it was a gated condo complex. Too early to use the pool so we cannot comment on that.The bedsheets were very thin so we used our own sheets. The duvet covers and pillowcases were nice though. Overall, comfortable stay.We would stay here again and can recommend it overall."

"Apartment was very clean and in a perfect position to explore. Very quiet too.Several good restaurants 2 minutes walk away and more in the Medieval City. There are a few different walking routes up to the Chateau but none were too strenuous (we are in our 60’s & 70’s)There’s a lovely Épicerie just 2 doors away where you can buy fresh baguettes, cheese, wine and other provisions, the staff there are extremely friendly.This was our first time in France and it was beyond our expectations."

The Spot bar restaurant is near but doesn’t cause any issues. We enjoyed our stay. Through use some of the walls have marks and if they get chance to rectify this it would help. "We booked last minute since we arrived to Carcassonne earlier than expected. The hostess graciously accepted our booking and made us feel exceedingly welcome. The property is gorgeous, high end, very comfortable, and clean. We felt like welcomed family. The bed and pillows were great. The air conditioning was perfect. The bathroom was well equipped with amenities. I wish we could have stayed longer! The included breakfast was lovingly prepared and ready at the time we chose. It was so much more than we could eat with artisanal bread, croissants, fresh chopped fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and 3 HOME MADE jams, which we devoured. Complimentary parking within the gated yard made it even better. The little town is adorable. Please consider this as a great alternative to staying in the city. While it was only minutes away, it was a world apart. The rates are more than reasonable for what we got…which was a genuine connection in a beautiful place. Exactly what we needed after a tough day of driving. We could not recommend higher. We are filled with gratitude to have experienced this warm couple and their phenomenal hospitality."

"There are B&Bs you stay in that feel very corporate and then there are places like this one. It is family owned and operated, and the owners make you feel like family while you are there. They and their two daughters were happy to show you the property they renovated during Covid and worked so hard to turn into a beautiful little part of France. The location is convenient to Carcassonne and there are dining options there. This is located in the country so you'll need to travel into the city to eat. Breakfast here was very good (one of the best we had while traveling around France, Italy and Switzerland). I truly hope you try this place as the owners are really great people..."

"We stayed for one week at the end of July and enjoyed it. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check- in went smooth even though we arrived day later Reception is open only for limited hours during day but you can easily check in/out- out of office hours, just contact host for the instructions. Place is very calm and quiet, surrounded by vineyards. Best is to have a car to explore the area. Uless you preffere stay in and dip in the pool.Around 1 hour drive to very nice and not overcrowded Narbonne Beach(mediterrean sea). You can even venture to Barcelona (over 2 hour drive) if you like.There is a lake just few minutes drive away with designated beach and area to swim.Also highly recommend a boat trip on Canal du Midi. Azille makes a good travel base on a budget.There is a mini-supermarket less than 5 min drive away. Good value for the price.Great escape from busy, crowded London. You can buy vine from the Juarres Vinery at the reception or book a taster at vinery just next to Residence. You can rent a bike there as well. Things to know.You need to clean your rented apartment before leaving or pay a fee of €90.There is no cleaning products or toileteries. Just Towels and toilette paper included.Kitchen eqipped with electric hob &kettle,fridge,toaster,microvave and filtered coffee machine. No Oven. Deffinitely would reccomend it.Thank you very much La Residence du Chateau de Juarres for our lovely break with You."
