"Mike and Susie were excellent hosts, responding quickly to any queries and ensuring we had all the information that we needed. The house was perfect for our family, which comprised of two people in their late eighties (the house is all on one level, and they had their own ensuite), my husband and I (with the only upstairs room, our own balcony and bathroom) , as well as three youngsters in their twenties (the pool table and swimming pools were a big hit, as well as the local bar and boulangerie). Many thanks for a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday!"

"Everything we needed was there. Nice beds, good, crisp bedding and nice pillows. Hot powerful shower. Very pet friendly place. James and Sam were very approachable if we had any questions. Perfect place to stay for house hunting in the area.Will definitely return."

"This hotel was rated highly and priced as though it was a high end property - it is not. It is an ancient chateau remodeled into a 1970s motel with amateur carpentry. Upon arrival the manager attempted to upsell us on-site breakfast and booking a dinner reservation through her website instead of showing us to our room. Our room was surprising, as it was not attractive or comfortable. There was a giant space heater to be plugged in because the proprietor turns off the heat at night - in December! The bathroom door was an ill fitting rolling door that did not provide privacy. We were happy to check out the next day. I could not recommend this hotel."

"The owner was very accommodating. This is an old property. The rooms are large. There is an art gallery attached to the building and concerts can be held here. We were there in off season. I suspect the town and hotel could be busy in the summerGreat town. Friendly people."
