"Food was decent at best. Room was not ready at check in time. Room was dirty. Bed linens stained. No hot water. No resolution to the problem. Called front desk x3 via cell because no phone in room. "

"We had a great overall stay and really appreciated the beautiful view—definitely one of the highlights of the property. The beds were very comfortable, and it was a huge plus to have access to beach chairs, floats, and a cooler for our outings. The pool on property was great and the patio overlooking the ocean is stunning. There were a few issues during our stay. The TV in the primary bedroom didn’t work, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, plan to login for any subscription services for streaming. Additionally, the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night despite there being no smoke or fire, which was unsettling.We also encountered some pests, including a scorpion and a few roaches. While we understand this can be expected in a tropical location, it was still a bit uncomfortable.The road to the property is rough and not easy to drive but isn’t due to this host. Just an FYI for future guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided, but addressing the pest issues would make the experience even better for future guests. "

"I must say I had a multitude of problems. The first being that the room had roaches. And I found this out in the middle of the night by one crawling at my arm as I was using the restroom and grabbing toilet paper. The TVs in the room do not work. There was one channel that is completely static and that was it. There was Minimal water pressure and No hot water. The bathroom area smells like mold, and the room is only partially renovated. The hotel attempted to adjust the pressure for the showerhead, but it did not get better, we had to bathe from the faucet and splash water on ourselves because I refuse to sit in that roach bathroom.. I asked to speak to a manager. No one ever contacted me to change rooms it was actually no response from them at all. So I spent six days in a room with roaches and no TV while traveling on vacation with kids. The only beneficial thing is that the one staff I spoke to at the desk was polite and apologized about the problem but did not solve them. Ultimately I paid too much money for this hotel to bathe in cold water, have roaches crawl on me, not have a TV and to not fully enjoy my vacation. "

"Beautiful house with an incredible view. The beds and living areas were very comfy. It was stocked with everything we could possibly need while staying there and provided some additional beach gear that came in very handy. We paid it forward and left some snorkeling gear for the next guests. "

"We had a blast! The view from the balcony was beautiful. The villa was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The location is also very convenient — close to Charlotte Amalie(15 minutes), the airport(12 minutes), Magens Beach (20 minutes). A perfect place to relax and enjoy the island. We would happily stay here again!"

"The Beach House is ideal for people who want to go and stay isolated and not go exploring he island. I recommend using the delivery service so you do not have to get out. The drive from the main road to the house is pretty intense, and a little overwhelming. I also do not recommend for people that may have issues getting up and down stairs. Main toilet in main house broke on our 1st morning, the maintenance man didn't make it until later the next evening. I understood that you will have bugs due to the location and landscape around but we had major issues with ants or something similar getting in all our food. We couldnt leave our dinner on the stove for us to eat and then clean due to it being covered in bugs within minutes. There were these same little bugs in all the bathrooms, not just a few, tons of them. There was also a leak in the cottage kind room that got some of our things wet. The linen was clean on the beds but the mattress protectors were not. It was a great get away and we enjoyed the beach with the family but they definitely need to fix a few things and definitely get an exterminator. "
