"Resort was amazing. It is centralized to where you can visit anywhere! A car was a must for us. We were there for 8 days and didn’t stop at all. We were go go. The resort was beautiful. The room was more than we expected. Only downside was some of the staff seemed a little rude. Like more annoyed to help than anything. Don’t get me wrong…we had some wonderful interactions with staff. But a few were kind blah. Kinda like they were annoyed at us asking for the simplest of things. I get it…it’s busy and crowded…but something as simple as a key card not working shouldn’t resort in attitude and basically being called a liar. Lol. We were more shocked than anything. We kinda laughed it off. Maybe she was having a rough morning…not sure. But it was ok. Just small things like that. And basically not knowing what to do or where to go seemed hard when asking for help. We were given the simplest of answers and had to ask even more questions. We eventually just figured it out. I would 100% stay here again though! Like I said, we did have some amazing conversations and help from some of the staff! "

"Pros: Beautiful beach on property, sunset views, 12 min walk to/fro airport. Clean room, helpful desk staff, taxi pick up on property. Little cafe on grounds to grab a coffee and express breakfast. Restaurant and bar overlooking the beach is nice Cons: Need to taxi everywhere (and that added up - CASH ONLY). Most food in the area is overpriced and very average (including hotel food). There didn't seem to be any place nearby with a more animated nighttime vibe. We learned that more of the "action" is on the other side of the island (ie Red Hook area) . So if you are looking for a nicer night time vibe this place may not be for you. Since we are early birds we were happy enough with quiet evenings, grabbing a drink at the beach bar, and walking right to our room after. "

"Room was clean. Pool and patio areas were rather run down and was disappointed to see the restaurant/bar area was completely ran down. Location is convenient enough for airport "

"We had a great overall stay and really appreciated the beautiful view—definitely one of the highlights of the property. The beds were very comfortable, and it was a huge plus to have access to beach chairs, floats, and a cooler for our outings. The pool on property was great and the patio overlooking the ocean is stunning. There were a few issues during our stay. The TV in the primary bedroom didn’t work, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, plan to login for any subscription services for streaming. Additionally, the smoke alarm went off in the middle of the night despite there being no smoke or fire, which was unsettling.We also encountered some pests, including a scorpion and a few roaches. While we understand this can be expected in a tropical location, it was still a bit uncomfortable.The road to the property is rough and not easy to drive but isn’t due to this host. Just an FYI for future guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided, but addressing the pest issues would make the experience even better for future guests. "

"The best part was the warm welcome from the staff and the beautiful view from the reception/dining area and pool. The room itself was a little disappointing. There was only a curtain to separate the bathroom from the rest of the room, even though the bathroom was literally a few feet from the bed. The location of the room we were in was not ideal because of noise from the parking lot and the kitchen, both of which were busy because of the dinner restaurant."

"The Ultimate Escape had an amazing view and was perfect for our party of 4!! Mida our host was so sweet and nice. She provided us with transportation to and from the airport so there were no problems with check in. She also provided us with transportation at a very good rate (Taxis on the island is very expensive) during our stay at her lovely home!! She would definitely get 10 stars if we could give her that many!! Lol We had an amazing trip!!"

"The view is incredible. That is the last of my compliments. Hot water ran out after about 6 minutes. The power on the island went out almost every night which is terrible for someone who has to use a CPAP to sleep. It seemed as though all of the units around us had generators. If we had one it was never brought to our attention. We had no way to exit the compound because the gate would only open from the outside. This could be an issue if there is an emergency and you can't get out. We could only exit the gate by standing around and waiting for a car to enter. Another resident told us we should have been given a key fob to open the gate but the host said he had never heard of such a thing. He told us the gate should open by a sensor when you walked up to it but this was not the case. I tried with both the entrance and exit. St. Thomas is a beautiful island with a lot to offer. Find somewhere else to stay. "
