Great hotel and frankly a pleasant surprise given the general area. Clean, nicely appointed and people very friendly. They can’t do anything about the area but they have made facility very secure. We were sailing today on the carnival Firenze so decided to stay right next-door on the Queen Mary the night before. This ship is amazingly beautiful, such history after 90 years of service. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room spacious, considering the age of the ship and how they used to design them. The staff is very nice, friendly and welcoming. We had a really nice dinner in the Promenade Café. A little spendy but what you would expect for the location. it is what it is on...
