"The property location (5min walk to the Duomo) is fabulous; the staff was terrific, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The ONLY issues (and both are horribly minor in relation to the overwhelming positives of the hotel): 1) the hallways need a bit of decor - the feeling is the property is not complete; and, 2) the delicious coffee just needs to be hotter - I know,such a problem to have..... I would recommend this property to anyone traveling to Florence!"

"The Hotel De la Ville in Florence was a lovely hotel for our visit to Florence. It is a beautiful hotel with old world charm yet modernized well. Its location in the historic center was perfect-easy to walk both to historic sites as well as to the Oltrarno. Our room was large, very clean and comfortable. The only thing that was unavailable was an iron. The breakfast room was very nice with a great variety of delicious foods and great service. We’d definitely stay here again upon a return trip...
