"A beautiful little hotel. Great outdoor bar area. A block off the beach with good restaurants all around. A block away from a little play area for kids great fruit and vegetable stand across the street. Really comfortable rooms and beds. An amazing breakfast buffet."

"The rooms are a bit dated and basic but large and great for families. The fold out beds are king size which was great to have a bit more space travelling with young kids. Pool is huge and super clean."

"This Hotel is in a good location if you are going to Twiga, but far away from shopping. Get some bikes if you stay here and everything is in range. I stayed in the back building on 2nd floor and unfortunately you can hear the door open and close every time and footsteps etc. I got a wraparound balcony with extra room and it was super spacious and clean. The 2nd bathroom had a small bathtub which was good for our child. The property is clean, the staff is amazing and the resort is beautiful. The bar is mostly vacant and unfortunately not well attended for some reason. The breakfasts were good but not great. Overall the hotel was overpriced but I did get the biggest room during a busy weekend. Also, the room was super bright. They had blackout curtains in the spare room but the main bedrooom had a white curtain that allowed light to pass through from hall outdoor light. Also, the staff is super nice and will drive you and pick you up. The beds are not that comfy and I suggest they upgrade their bedding to a Marriott type pillows and comforter set."

"We stayed in June 2026 and we learned that new ownership / management had just opened the month prior following a renovation / spruce up. Having had the privilege to stay in some nice hotels over the years, this one stands out as my all-time favorite. The grounds are stunning and large amidst a rather dense resort town. Proximity to center of Forte was great — we typically walked (15 mins), but we did use the on demand shuttle service which never took more than 5 minutes from when we called. You can tell every last element of the hotel’s decor and design was carefully curated with a nostalgic nod to Italian design and culture - the result is understated 5-star elegance. We stayed in a deluxe room which was beautiful, impeccably clean, and spacious. Bathroom was stunning, large and functional (great water pressure). Bed was A+. Large balcony. We spent a lot of time at the pool which was beautifully set amongst the landscape and equipped with ample comfortable loungers lined with lush towels. The bar / restaurant next to the pool served tasty drinks and food. In addition to the staff’s warmth and kindness, they all took pride in their work. It was our first trip abroad with our 6 month old, and we notified the hotel just before arriving that we would need a crib — we arrived to the room and a beautiful, photoshoot worth crib awaited. The staff was so accommodating in making sure we had everything we needed for our baby. Already figuring out when we can come back."
