"I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay. The hosts are warm, friendly and helpful. They are very pleasant to talk to and we even shared some laughs. Our room was well equipped, clean and had everything we needed. The view of the mountains is spectacular. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with special touches and plenty for our appetite. "The proprietor was very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room and excellent, ample breakfast. Shower is tight for a plus-sized person. Parking very easy, but the peculiarities of house numbering in Carrara make it difficult to find the B&B location, which is located not near #18 and behind another group of houses numbered 16. Still, I highly recommend this B&B!"

"Devo ammettere che non avevo la minima idea dell'esistenza di Gombola, un luogo magico, quasi mistico. Ho trascorso un weekend all'insegna della natura e della tranquillità più assoluta. L'ostello è pulitissimo e l'accoglienza è stata ottima. Ritornerò sicuramente, magari questa estate sperando di poter assistere anche agli spettacoli del gruppo teatrale che ha in gestione l'ostello. Consigliatissimo!!!"

"Unbelievably stunning setting. You will need to be a confident driver to manage the roads up to the house as the roads are steep and winding as you would expect in Tuscany. The smell of Jasmine and the natural peaceful surrounding beauty is amazing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed a bbq too. We loved the little lizards, flamboyant butterflies and stargazing at night. There is a great cafe about 29 minutes walking up the hill with a lovely atmosphere and a small local shop to get essentials...
