"This hotel was amazing. If you have children, they offer a special fox themed room which includes fox blankets and a stuffie for them to keep and loot bags. Incredible pool, welcoming staff, and close to many attractions. Loved it!"
"Perfect stay at The Hoxton - the room was lovely - quiet, well laid out and the bed was comfy too. The bar area and cafe were great and the upstairs roof terrace was fabulous. The staff were welcoming, friendly and really helpful.
The location was perfect for us - close to Waterloo, Southwark and Blackfriars tube stations so we could easily get around. It was a short walk to Southbank too for all the bars and restaurants, but quiet at night. We loved it."
"This should have been a great stay but sadly it wasn’t. Only one lift was working for a start and when I got to my room I was unable to get in. I returned to the front desk to be told that I needed to push the door very hard to get it open. Should it be necessary to shoulder a hotel door to open it? The blinds were a nightmare. I woke early and they jammed when I tried to open them. Reception said there were no maintenance staff in but offered me a free breakfast. Better than nothing I guess. I...
"What a special stay! From the moment we arrived, every member of the team made us feel so welcome. The service was exceptional, everyone was genuinely friendly, attentive and went above and beyond to make our visit memorable.
We were celebrating a special occasion and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. We genuinely didn’t want to leave and will absolutely be back. Thank you to the whole team for such a wonderful experience!"
"Excellent service! Great staff at front desk and also Claudia was lovely. Easy walk to the Black Friar tube station and very close to the Tate - London Eye etc. bathroom newly renovated - room was tiny. Glorious ac! Great breakfast. Super expensive but the most decent price hotel that we could find in a convient central location. Please fix your drink fridge! If you are an IHG member you are able to get a late check at till 2pm which was great on our day of flying."
"This Ibis London Southwark is in a great location, close to Borough Market and within walking distance of London Bridge Underground Station, making it easy to explore the city> The continental breakfast was very good, and the hotel is a convenient place to stay when visiting London.
My only disappointment was customer the customer service. the front desk could be more welcoming and friendly to guest.
the bartender, Katy, came across as rude and unfriendly during our stay, which took away from...
"I have been using this Mercure hotel for around 13 years for work and non work stays in London. It’s in a good location to get to where I want to go.
The hotel has been improved over the years and the staff never fail to be helpful and polite. And in general I find it a good hotel to stay at.
A plus point for me are the refillable water bottles in your room.
However, there are some small touches that seem an insignificant, can be tad irritating when not done e.g. only one glass in a room...
