The hotel is a beautiful old building with a comfortable and inviting look. The staff was friendly and personable. It felt like I was staying at a friend's house. My room was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed, and a desk. Amenities included a fridge, microwave, TV, and a jacuzzi tub. A fantastic breakfast is included with your stay. Our room was fantastic, in suite bathroom. Family room & breakfast area was nicely set up, plenty of space. We had taken the time to walk the property, very relaxing, peaceful & tranquil. On our way out on Sunday we were able to purchase some vegetables and farm fresh eggs. I wish I new about this B&B years ago when my daughter was a freshman at ISU, we would have stayed her every time. The family, Peter & Denise were wonderful to speak with. We could not believe what a charming, relaxing, beautiful place this was. Dale and Judy were perfect hosts who shared their knowledge of farm life, barn collections & antiques. Judy is a fantastic cook who serves food with flare on different dishes every day. Each room was decorated differently. We stayed in the Roost. We didn't want to leave. Very peaceful stay.

Incredible stay. I know it said bed and breakfast but we were blown away by the breakfast and treats that were in a jar by the entrance. Given that it is an old house I was nervous about the cold but it was cozy and warm. Not too hot at all. My only negative is regarding how quiet it is, I felt like I had to whisper in the room because I didn’t want to disturb the peacefulness. What an amazing home! I felt welcome and loved. Thank you to the best hosts I’ve had in a long time! Breakfast was absolutely beautiful and yummy! I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway from life!
