"The staff was amazing. They helped me with a couple of things that they didn't have to, and I was so thankful. The room is dated but it was clean. We stayed in the handicap room, and it had a shower seat and bars. That helped a lot. Even though we had a non-smoking room, the hall smelled like smoke, but our room didn't. If you don't need fancy and just need a place to sleep for a night or two, I would recommend Motel 6 of Cortland."

"We were in the area with a thousand or so families for the Cooperstown baseball tournament. We weren’t excited about staying in a big hotel for 9 days. Based on reviews we chose this small (15 unit) motel with a kitchenette just 5 miles south of the tournament. There is a convenience store in front of the motel. It was very peaceful and quiet. "This property offers a sanctuary on Otsego Lake. It is clean and offers lovely amenities including paddle boats and a private beach/swimming area. They also had fishing poles ready to go. Their staff is courteous and very kind. We felt like family and beloved guests. "

They accept pets which is hard to find. There is a large dining room that can be used for meetings or banquets. Highly recommend."
